Dancing in the Streets

The players wake up to a boom and their rooms shaking. When they leave no one else in the building has seemed to notice anything.

Once outside you hear some strange music coming from the city center. Once there you see people dancing in costume and there is one person collapsed but still trying to dance on the ground.

If talking to the person they reveal they are Headward and want to dance the night away, all the time.

If in the center for more than 3 turns then every 3 turns players must past a mind 50 check or begin dancing.

If players ask around enough they eventually meet an npc that says they just bought their chicken costume this morning, then by the time they put it on they felt like doing a chcicken dance and it just hasn??Tt stopped yet. The guy complains about his legs hurting, but he must still dance.

With enough research and asking around the players find out that the local costume shop had a sale going on today and it seems that Costume Shop Deluxe is at the center of it.

Once reaching the shop it has a closed sign up. If you peer through the windows with a mind check of 70 you can make out some faint people in the back.

Players can attempt to pick the lock with an 65 agility check. They can smash a window in with a 45 strength check.

Once inside they meet MonoChrono the owner of the shop. He seems a little crazy and unhinged and tries to push costumes on the players. Roll a 45 mind check to not begin dancing or putting on a costume involuntarily

MonoChrono can be captured, but to stop his effect you must pry his gem out of his hand with a strength check of 65.

If MonoChrono is killed or brought in with his gem taken away the quest is over
